Tracey-Lee Dogon
Self-taught Tracey-Lee began playing piano at the age of six.
In 1985 her song-writing capabilities and rich, distinctive vocals caught the attention of record producers Tully McCullough and Kevin Shirley respectively and both the seven singles “Down The Line / Reassurance” and “Ten Years Younger / Dry Tears” received extensive airplay on radio and television.
Her solo career from 1986-2015 provided her with the opportunity to travel to China on two occasions, performing in Shanghai and Wenzhou as well as completing extended residency contracts all over South Africa, including Fancourt Golf Estate, Club Mykonos, The 12 Apostles Hotel, The V&A Hotel, The Radisson, The Bay Hotel, Pirates Grill, Watney Girls, The Peninsula Hotel and Quay 4, to name just a few.
From 2009 to 2015, Tracey-Lee completed many successful contracts in Doha before deciding to move back home. She is now living, performing and teaching singing in Langebaan on the West Coast.
She is availble for gigs, functions and events along the west coast, including St Helena Bay, Hopefield, Veldrift, Paternoster and of course Langebaan.
Tracey-Lee is equally at home playing in relaxed laid back restaurants as she is at markets, function venues and the more upbeat eateries. Her extensive repertoire includes several of her own compositions too.
